The Savorfull Story: Watch This To Be Healthy At Work

Our Story:  Savorfull Revolutionizes The Free-From Foods World

Savorfull is the industry leader in free-from foods and our mission is to provide accessible products, content and guidance that connects clients to a clean-eating based-lifestyle, which incorporates outrageously delicious and healthy free-from foods, handpicked by nutritionist Stacy Goldberg.

A “free-from” food fanatic and nutrition consultant, Stacy Goldberg created Savorfull to help clients incorporate clean eating based, free-from foods into a simple and sustainable lifestyle.  Creating Savorfull has been the culmination of Stacy’s 20-year career and dedication to healthy living.  She has educated thousands of clients over the years and has her pulse on the free-from food industry, by traveling to food shows across the world to identify healthier alternatives.

Developed in Detroit in 2011, Savorfull is a member of The Quicken Loans Family of Companies and was started with the help of Bizdom Detroit, a nonprofit entrepreneurial accelerator program founded by Dan Gilbert, Chairman of Quicken Loans. Stacy enlisted her best friend and the savviest business woman she knew..her mom, Phyllis Canvasser, to join forces in building a scalable business that would help millions of people either choosing to live a free-from lifestyle or having to live a free-from lifestyle based on a clinical diagnosis (such as celiac disease, food allergies, hypertension and so many more).

Now, 5 years later Savorfull leverages its unique network of vendors to connect clients with healthy and outrageously delicious free-from foods, fostering a clean eating-based lifestyle.

With expert nutritionist Stacy Goldberg leading the charge, Savorfull makes it easy for clients to discover and purchase free-from foods, as well as access guidance and online content to meet individual dietary needs.

Savorfull also provides innovating nutrition programs for businesses, organizations as well as numerous professional and collegiate sports teams.

Additionally, Savorfull acts as a conduit to consumers, businesses and organizations, by providing online and in-person sales and marketing channels for vendors to leverage.

Valentine’s Day Means Heart Health At Savorfull & UBS/BLS Financial Group

This Valentine’s Day, our CEO Stacy Goldberg was honored to be invited to speak at The Townsend Hotel in Birmingham, Michigan on Women and Heart Health. UBS/BLS Financial Group from Southfield, Michigan honored women by offering them a gorgeous luncheon combined with massages, speakers, tarot card readings, chocolate (yes, there was dark chocolate too!), and much more. Stacy Goldberg spoke to the women about keeping their hearts healthy and nutrition guidelines/strategies to implement for a healthy lifestyle. Just a few of  Stacy’s heart healthy tips included:

–Be active–ensure you are getting at least 150 minutes of exercise each week, even if it is 10 minute increments

–Know your caloric budget, no different than your financial budget.

–Use technology to support your efforts..check out tools such as Foodstand and My Fitness Pal to encourage your healthy eating habits and maintain a healthy weight.

–Limit the amount of added sugars in your diet, as added sugars increase your risk of having heart disease.

–Limit the amount of saturated fats in your diet and eat heart healthy fats instead such as plant based oils, salmon and other fatty fish, nuts, seeds and avocado.

–Increase and vary your intake of brightly colored fruits and vegetables each day.

The women went home with delicious Savorfull heart healthy treats including dark chocolate bars from Birmingham Chocolate and yummy gluten free raw bars from Rawxies
